Resilient city Network

Today, international urban climate change networks are gaining strength, city climate change programs are being funded by national governments and foundations, and cities are taking on responsibility for both reducing GHG emissions and building resilience. Resilient city network is critical to build a better future.

UCCRN

The Urban Climate Change Research Network (UCCRN) is a global consortium of over 1,200 individuals from over 150 cities dedicated to the analysis of climate change mitigation and adaptation from an urban perspective.

UCCRN European Hub

European Hub is UCCRN’s first Regional Hub. Hosted in Paris at IEES-Paris, in partnership with the Centre National de la Recherché Scientifique, University Pierre et Marie Curie, and l’Atelier International du Grand Paris.

UCCRN EDU

UCCRN_edu is an Erasmus+ cooperation partnership launched by world-leading Higher Education Institutions which include members of the Urban Climate Change Research Network. The Partnership aims at developing an educational alliance to form the next generation of urban climate leaders.

UP2030

UP2030 aims to support cities in driving the socio-technical transitions required to meet their climate neutrality targets by leveraging urban planning and design.

The Rockefeller Foundation

In 2013, The Rockefeller Foundation pioneered 100 Resilient Cities, a project to help more cities build resilience. The organization concluded on July 31, 2019. On July 8, 2019, The Rockefeller Foundation announced an $8 million commitment to continue supporting member cities within the 100RC Network supporting other projects like Resilient Cities Network.
