Organized by Legambiente and UCCRN_edu, this event is a part of Italy’s contribution to the global discourse on climate change, coinciding with COP 29, the UN Climate Change Conference, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 8th to 10th.
The event in Naples will kick off at 11:00 AM, bringing together people of all ages for an inspiring day of activities aimed at raising awareness about climate issues. Here’s what you can look forward to:
🔹 Fun and Engaging Activities – Games, quizzes, and activities designed for children and adults alike. The interactive sessions will not only entertain but educate participants on key environmental topics, emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices in everyday life.
🔸 Flash Mob: SCREAM FOR CLIMATE – At precisely 12:00 PM, attendees will join others across Italy in a synchronized flash mob. This impactful moment, known as the SCREAM FOR CLIMATE, will echo through cities nationwide, symbolizing a collective call for urgent climate action. By lending our voices, we aim to send a powerful message to global leaders: it’s time for immediate and meaningful change to address climate challenges.
🔹 Community Aperitif – After the activities, participants are invited to stay and enjoy an aperitif together. It’s a chance to connect with like-minded individuals, share thoughts on climate justice, and strengthen community bonds.
